About Me

Hello! I’m Ali Rehman, an Electrical Engineering graduate from LUMS (Class of 2024), currently working as a SLAM Algorithm Engineer at Software Motion. In this role, I focus on LiDAR and visual SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) for autonomous driving and ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems).

Previously, I worked as a Research Assistant at the LUMS IMASS Lab, where I specialized in TinyML and deep model compression. My expertise spans robotics, SLAM, machine learning, and TinyML, with hands-on skills in ROS, deep learning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), computer vision, and robot motion planning.

Feel free to explore my projects further through my resume, and connect with me on LinkedIn for collaboration or discussions.
