About Me

Hello! I’m Ali Rehman, a Machine Learning & Computer Vision Engineer currently working at Emblem Technologies. My work focuses on training and deploying computer vision and generative AI models, supported by backend development using FastAPI and WebSockets, along with strong experience in MLOps, AWS SageMaker, EC2, and optimized edge/embedded deployments.

Previously, I worked at Software Motion as an Algorithm Engineer, contributing to 3D LiDAR and visual SLAM for ADAS systems. I also bring research experience from the LUMS Agriculture Robotics Lab, where I worked on TinyML, model sparsity, ARM Neon acceleration, and efficient deep learning deployment on mobile robotic platforms.

My expertise spans computer vision, SLAM, generative AI, embedded AI, backend services for AI systems, and efficient on-device inference. Connect with me on LinkedIn to explore my work or collaborate.
